311 rooms located centrally on the Cairns Esplanade, extending through to Abbott Street Cairns.

A staged demolition of existing commercial office space and backpacker motel was requirement prior to commencement of constructions.

This project saw Prime Constructions take on an all-encompassing multifaceted role that incorporated the following contract works:

• Project Management duties on behalf of the client including engagement of all Project Consultants
• Principal Contractor role for the construction phase of the Project
• Full Fitout (FF&E – furniture, fittings & equipment) Contractual Works

Prime played a crucial part throughout this entire development and worked closely with our client to ensure that Flynn is delivered on time and on budget. Works commenced on a Lump Sum Contract that included a full fitout to both towers of the development.

The development of Flynn consisted of both the demolition of existing structures and the development of two towers housing a mix of hotel rooms and suites. The two towers meet via a podium level that will offer additional “guest only” facilities.

Flynn is home to an extensive food precinct that’s open to the public and accessible directly from the Cairns Esplanade. The amazing glass swimming pools a first to Cairns.
