Prime boasts a leadership team with over 100 years combined experience in the project management, design and construction industry. The team possesses extensive experience in their specialised fields and are multi-award winning through their collective efforts.




Having worked in the construction industry over the last 25 years John brings a broad range of experience to his leadership role at Prime. Having started off in the trades as an apprentice Carpenter, John went on to working for one of Australia’s largest private builders both in North Qld and the Northern Territory on a range of large scale commercial and high-end residential and tourism based projects. During this time John has worked in all fields of the industry from on-site construction management, project management, planning, feasibility and design development.

With a key focus on communication, John’s long association with the North Queensland market has resulted in a clear understanding of the unique challenges faced in the construction industry in the region. He has an extensive network of contacts throughout the industry including sub-contractors, suppliers and consultants. A history of large-scale and often technical projects in this challenging environment has led to an attitude of resourcefulness and persistence that ensures a positive outcome for clients and stakeholders.




Glenn commenced work for Prime in March 2010 and is responsible for providing project management, cost planning and project administration. His core skills and experience include cost planning, design management, and project management, together with relevant trade qualifications including a builder’s license.

In total, Glenn has over 35 years experience in the construction industry, with the last two decades spent in all facets of cost planning, project management and project administration. He has developed the required analytical and problem solving skills necessary for today’s rapidly changing construction industry.

Glenn has gained considerable experience on a variety of projects in Queensland across many sectors ranging from commercial, public sector, residential, industrial, retail, remote and mixed-use projects.




Brian commenced work with Prime in August 2016 and was responsible for the successful delivery of the second Crystalbrook collection hotel The Bailey, Cairns.

Brian was responsible for the coordination and delivery of the project and worked in closely with consultants and the client to ensure expectations were met and exceeded.

He brings with him a wealth of construction knowledge over the past 32 years within the industry. Coupled with a builders licence and relevant trade qualifications, Brian employs the knowledge gained over a lifetime of construction experience to problem solve and coordinate complex construction activities effectively and strives to provide the best possible outcome for our clients.


Chief Financial Officer


Jasvinder possesses over 15 years experience working in Accounting and Finance. She completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Strain) in 2001 at James Cook University and is also a licensed Bookkeeper. Throughout her career in the finance industry she has carried out many roles including completing Tax Returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals, lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS), Financial Statements and Bookkeeping.

Jasvinder oversees all financial and accounting aspects of the Prime business and manages multiple project budgets and cashflows on a daily basis with an exceptional attention to detail.

She boasts a remarkable mind for numbers and is advanc ed in using many software accounting programs including MYOB, AO Finance, AO Tax, Handitax, QuickBooks/Reckon and Zero.

ANNETTE Sommerville

HSEQ Manager


Annette has been working in the quality assurance arena for almost 30 years, with expertise in the construction industry’s quality and safety for more than 10 years, she brings with her an exceptional knowledge of industry regulations and best practice benchmarks.

As HSEQ Manager for Prime, Annette actively develops, implements and maintains Prime’s Health, Safety, and Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) Integrated Management System (IMS) framework across the company. She also provides professional support and advice to senior management on people and HSEQ matters, identifies areas of HSEQ risk, and develops measures to reduce and control identified risks. It is also Annette’s role within the group to ensure that we remain compliant on all legislative matters and that personnel are adequately directed on HSEQ requirements in a user friendly manner to achieve a quality, safe environment for all.

Through Annette’s leadership we have seen a culture created that encourages resourcefulness and our personnel now with her guidance identify trends, so as to develop even better safe work strategies to improve our performance.

Annette regularly conducts on-site inspections, risk assessments, ergonomic assessments and system audits, and develops documentation to suit our business needs while ensuring we act in accordance with AS/NZS4801, AS/NZS ISO 14001, AS/NZS ISO 9001 and Federal Safety law.



Andy Taylor brings 38 years experience in the construction and development industry to his role at Prime.

With a history of experience ranging from on-site management of complex residential and commercial projects, to managing all aspects of one of Australia’s largest privately owned construction companies, Andy is driven by high-quality outcomes to meet the needs of Prime’s clients.

Andy is a long-term established leader in construction and development management on the Eastern Seaboard of Australia and brings considerable personal and professional skills to Prime.

During his life-long career in the construction and development industries, Andy’s ability to deliver for clients has been recognised and awarded. He utilises advanced skills in property acquisitions, development feasibility and the management of technical design and construction risk to deliver exceptional results for clients.
